Smoked Salmon Linguini
12oz smoked salmon, chopped (or use fish of choice)
32oz pasta (cooked linguini, fettuccini, or desired type)
1tbsp butter
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh dill (set aside some for garnish)
1/4 cup wine
1/2 lemon
1 cup cream
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese


  1. Sauté onions with wine and butter.
  2. Squeeze juice from lemon; remove seeds if they fall into mixture.
  3. Add capers, then add a bit of the smoked salmon.
  4. Add cream and bring to a slight boil.
  5. Add salt and pepper. Be very generous with the pepper; it is essential to the dish.
  6. Add cooked pasta and remaining dill.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to help thicken sauce.
  8. Place on serving plates or bowls. Garnish with dill and lemon slices, if desired. Bon appétit!
