WSIU HD is the WSIU TV you've come to know and love, but now with better picture and sound. It's our main channel and is where you'll find the great local programming you've come to expect from WSIU.
WSIU World is the "public affairs" channel - you can find your favorite news or talk show here, maybe on at a more convenient time. Plus, you'll find programs that focus on worldly issues.
WSIU Create is the channel for DIY'ers. Programs focusing on cooking, crafting, and constructing are the bread and butter of this very popular service from WSIU.
Q: How do I receive these "extra" channels?
A: It Depends....on how you receive WSIU TV.
Ensure your VHF antenna is connected to your digital TV (or your DTV converter box), orient the antenna toward DuQuoin (or Olney for WUSI viewers), perform a channel scan. Consult your owner's manual for details.
After this one-time scan, the channels should appear on your set.
Contact your cable provider and let them know as a subscriber, you'd like to receive all of WSIU's channel offerings, including WSIU World and WSIU Create.

Our WSIU TV transmitter is located in Tamaora, IL and broadcasts in the VHF band on Channel 8.
Our WUSI TV transmitter is located in Dundas, IL and broadcasts in the UHF band on Channel 19, virtual channel 16
