A: It Depends....on how you receive WSIU TV.

Over-The-Air Antenna

Ensure your VHF antenna is connected to your digital TV (or your DTV converter box), orient the antenna toward DuQuoin (or Olney for WUSI viewers), perform a channel scan. Consult your owner's manual for details.

After this one-time scan, the channels should appear on your set.

Cable

Contact your cable provider and let them know as a subscriber, you'd like to receive all of WSIU's channel offerings, including WSIU World and WSIU Create.

Satellite

Contact your satellite provider and let them know as a subscriber, you'd like to receive all of WSIU's channel offerings in their broadcast format, including WSIU World and WSIU Create.


Transmitter Information

Our WSIU TV transmitter is located in Tamaora, IL and broadcasts in the VHF band on Channel 8.

Our WUSI TV transmitter is located in Dundas, IL and broadcasts in the UHF band on Channel 19, virtual channel 16
