U.S. Senate Forum
Phil Ponce from WTTW's Chicago Tonight hosts a forum featuring candidates for the Illinois U.S. Senate race, Mark Kirk (R) and Alexi Giannoulias (D).
This program will repeat on WSIU World (8.2) on 10/29 at 11pm, 10/30 at 6pm, and 10/31 at 5pm
WSIU and its regional partners also will present interviews with candidates for the Illinois General Assembly and U.S. House of Representatives on Friday nights in October as part of the weekly WSIU-TV series WSIU InFocus. The half-hour, unscripted interviews will feature questions from Jak Tichenor of WSIU-TV, Jennifer Fuller of WSIU Radio, and Rob Crow of the Southern Illinoisan newspaper. WSIU Radio will broadcast excerpts from the candidate interviews during local news breaks in late October.
