Our Shared Future
Just as Delyte Morris and Buren Robbins shared a vision for the future of regional public broadcasting at Southern Illinois University, today's WSIU stations work with our university and community partners to identify and meet the needs of our region.
We succeed only to the extent that our children learn, our viewers and listeners become engaged in the world around them, and our communities join together to make changes that improve the quality of life for everyone.
The future unfolding before us is vast, dynamic, and filled with challenges. But like the early visionaries at SIU, we believe these challenges can be transformed into opportunities by working together with intelligence, creativity, and compassion.
It is our heritage and our responsibility. And it can, with continued support, become our destiny.
Membership
Our national program schedules bring you the best from PBS, NPR, PRI, and other national television and radio program sources, but we must pay high annual fees to obtain these programs. Your direct financial support is essential to maintaining our high-quality program line up.

Underwriting

Volunteering
At WSIU Public Broadcasting, we are always looking for volunteers to lend us a helping hand. There are volunteer opportunities in almost every department: radio production and operations assistants, television production assistants and editors, SIRIS readers, pledge drive phone volunteer, community newspaper clippers, and many more.
