WSIU Public Radio has hosted a recording booth at the Cape Girardeau Storytelling Festival since its inception in 2008. More than two dozen people have tried their hand at storytelling, in a range of styles from retelling oral histories to reading from a book.
The stories which were recorded are presented here for your listening pleasure. Selected stories were also featured on WSIU FM during Morning Edition and All Things Considered .
