Carbondale, IL - WSIU 91.9 FM, WUSI 90.3 FM and WVSI 88.9 FM, the public radio stations of Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC), are pleased to offer a sweet thank you to public radio fans who make a financial contribution during their 14th Annual "Love is on the Air" Valentine's Day event, sponsored regionally by The Chocolate Factory in Golconda, Ill. and Mail Boxes Etc. in Carbondale.
Launched in 1997, this special event has become a popular Valentine's Day tradition, all for the love of public radio. Supporters are invited to surprise the special people in their lives with regular or sugar-free hand-made gourmet chocolates courtesy of The Chocolate Factory. Both varieties are available in half-pound boxes for a donation of $45, one-pound boxes for a donation of $60, and two-pound boxes for a donation of $100. Each box includes a gift card with the sender's personalized Valentine message. Chocolates can be shipped anywhere in the continental United States on or before February 14, courtesy of Mail Boxes Etc. of Carbondale.
Supplies go quickly, so those interested in participating are advised to submit their orders securely online at www.wsiu.org or by calling WSIU Radio at (618) 453-6184 or 1-800-745-9748. Orders must be received by 1:00PM on Wednesday, February 10 for Valentine's Day delivery.
