The Tragedy of Bataan is a television and radio documentary series that chronicles the fall of the Philippines and the Bataan Death March during the early months of World War II. Acclaimed actor Alec Baldwin is narrator for both the television documentary and the five-part companion radio series.
The documentary series was produced and written by Jan Thompson, an Associate Professor in the Department of Radio-Television at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
WSIU Public Broadcasting is the presenting station.
The Tragedy of Bataan is being distributed nationally by the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) and PRX.
