WSIU Public Broadcasting Pressroom

Awards

WSIU's efforts to improve the quality of life in our region have garnered dozens of local, regional, and national awards, which in turn have raised awareness about the transformative power of public broadcasting and attracted funding that helps us to meet the needs of our communities.

Although we are proud of our accomplishments, none of the awards listed here would have been possible without the support of Southern Illinois University Carbondale and the College of Mass Communication & Media Arts; our national, state, and regional partners in public broadcasting, government, education, and the social services; the Friends of WSIU advisory board; and our donors, staff, students, and community volunteers. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of others!
